Gastro Master Chef


This course is designed for adults who want to develop their cookery skills and confidence in the kitchen. It is ideally suited for the home cook rather than those working in the catering industry. 

The course covers a range of culinary preparation and presentation skills to produce high quality dishes. Our Professional Chef can tailor the course to suit any style and requests as well as sharing their hints and tips so that you can produce gastronomic feasts at home.

Price of the Course: £220 (per 10 week block)

Date: Thursday 19th April - Thursday 28th June 2018

Time of the course: 6pm - 9pm

Additional Requirements: All ingredients are included. You may be required to bring in some more expensive food items e.g. meat/ fish etc.

Additional cost (optional): Chef's package available to purchase for £31.75. Package includes:

  • 1 Grey bib apron
  • 1 Grey skull cap
  • 1 3" Giesser paring knife
  • 1 6" Giesser cooks knife
  • 1 Oven cloth

You will be sent an order form once we receive your booking but please note it is advised you do not order until you receive your email confirming the course is running with your joining details, usually one week prior to the course start date. If you order before this and we have to cancel the course, CCN cannot be held responsible for your order.

Alternatively you are welcome to bring your own items from home if you prefer. Please note that we have a limited supply of skull caps available if you require one.

Location: City College Norwich main campus - Ipswich Road. Cooks Club courses are held in the kitchens of the Hotel School in the Cromer building. Map available on our website.

Please note that courses may be cancelled if minimum numbers are not met. Please be aware that if you are no longer able to attend your course you will be offered an alternative date where available, however no refunds are available unless this course is cancelled by City College Norwich.
