Experience Guided Meditation


This course offers a 12 week guided meditation journey for the sheer indulgence of experiencing profoundly deep relaxation and an inner stillness. The benefits of meditation are well known to reduced stress, aid better sleep, help with focus and inner peace. For those unaccustomed to meditating it can be helpful to start with Guided Meditations, led by an experienced practitioner who takes you on a journey.

This course includes classes of 1 hour which are split into 3 parts:

  • A short, non-religious spiritual greeting from a range of sources including Gibran, Thoreau or Rumi.
  • Deep physical relaxation exercises to release any tension or stress, designed to take you out of the everyday into a more relaxed state.
  • A “guided journey” into nature where you are encouraged to visualise an environment using the senses of sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. The journey might involve a long, white, sandy beach one week and a log cabin in the woods the next.

On completing this course you will be able to practice the techniques independently to eliminate stress and bring about an inner peace.
